| Coaches
worldwide who work under the Coaching for Global AdvantageSM
aegis are all participants in GROVEWELL's
quality assurance process.

The principal stages in this process are: SELECT: GROVEWELL's partners consider only long-serving executive coaches who have years of experience working with senior business leaders, including leaders at the "C" level. Also required is a background of substantial management experience within one or more corporations, preferably in two or more nations. The great majority of candidates also have participated in at least one formal coach certification program. GROVEWELL does not provide a training ground for new or young executive coaches. Each candidate who has appropriate background and experience is asked to submit, as references, the names and contact coordinates of three executives previously coached. GROVEWELL contacts every reference without fail. GROVEWELL will not proceed until at least two highly favorable replies are received. Upon receipt of at least two favorable replies, the candidate coach participates in a lengthy interview with partner Willa Hallowell. If at all possible, this interview is conducted face-to-face. Assuming this interview goes well, the candidate is accepted as a GROVEWELL associate and qualified executive coach. CREDENTIAL: Accepted coaches participate at their first opportunity in a two-day GROVEWELL training event. Or, if they receive an assignment prior to such an event's being scheduled, they will again participate in a lengthy phone consultation with partner Willa Hallowell. The purpose of these procedures is to draw each GROVEWELL executive coach further into the mindset and process that distinguishes Coaching for Global Advantage, and to acquaint them with practical knowledge from the intercultural consulting field. Some coaches may also receive skill-enhancing assignments. DEVELOP: GROVEWELL coaches also are given other opportunities for self-development. These include global roundtables via conference calls, web-based opportunities to learn from fellow coaches (now in development), readings, and personal consultations with GROVEWELL's lead CGA coaches, partner Willa Hallowell and senior associate Kathleen Molloy. MONITOR: Each coaching assignment under the Coaching for Global Advantage aegis is monitored by Ms. Hallowell. Feedback is occasionally sought from the coachee and, when possible, the coachee's stakeholders, as the coaching progresses. Feedback is also be sought from the coach herself. A formal evaluation of the value and impact of the coaching is conducted at the time the assignment is ending.
